WHO denounces e-cigarette manufacturers?
WHO denies the claim by the manufacturers of e-cigarettes that it has endorsed the product as safe? The organization has further decided to frame a lawsuit on the companies for plastering its name and logo on their products. According to Douglas Bettcher, the product is untested as a proper nicotine replacement therapy. He also added that the companies need to conduct clinical studies and toxicity analyses if they want to help the smokers. It is to be noted that these e-cigar still contain quite some health issues such as the liquid nicotine and other harmful additives. Looks like the issue will be under debate for quite some time.
